Mount Meru in Arusha is the highest mountain in Tanzania after Mount Kilimanjaro. It is a dormant volcano located directly at Arusha National Park. Mount Meru is one of the most popular attractions in Arusha. You will visit the waterfalls of Mount Meru with an English-speaking guide. The soils on the slopes are very fertile and so you will pass many beautiful flowers and plants on the way to the waterfall. The beautiful waterfall is located on the slopes of Mount Meru and you can reach the waterfall after a 45-minute hike through the untouched nature on the mountain. Keep in mind that there are some steep parts in this hike. So you have to be reasonably fit to take this walk. It can also be a bit slippery in the rainy season and we advise against taking this walk during that time.
